No.10 overall pick Jerrick Ahanmisi is officially a pro after receiving a two-year rookie contract with the Magnolia Hotshots.
One of the most highly-anticipated players out of college, the former Adamson University Soaring Falcons sniper will be beefing up the already deep Magnolia backcourt.
Ahanmisi will be playing alongside PBA top guards like Paul Lee, Jio Jalalon, Mark Barroca, and Justin Melton.
Jerrick is Maverick’s younger brother and is seeking to carry over his scoring prowess that caused a lot of problems against the different UAAP universities he faced.
Slick, clever, and long, Ahanmisi posts one of the rarest PBA guard combinations and is also an excellent two-way player under the helm of coach Franz Pumaren.
Ahanmisi showed PBA scouts that while he is busy piling up the score sheet for the Falcons, he can also defend the best offensive player of the opposition given his long arms and height.
Coach Chito Victolero is already excited about working with the kid and is expecting a lot from the former Adamson superstar.
