Maayon’s No. 4 most wanted arrested in Capiz

ROXAS CITY, Capiz — The No. 4 most wanted person at the municipal level was arrested Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 26, in Barangay Poblacion Ilaya, Maayon, Capiz.
Police identified the suspect as alias “Nonoy,” 31, a resident of Barangay West Villaflores, Maayon, Capiz.
The warrant of arrest was issued Aug. 12, 2026, by a judge of the Regional Trial Court, 6th Judicial Region, Branch 18, Roxas City, for reckless imprudence resulting in less serious physical injuries under Article 365 of the Revised Penal Code in relation to Section 29 of Republic Act No. 10591.
RA 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, regulates the ownership, possession, carrying, manufacture, and sale of firearms and ammunition.
The court recommended bail of PHP 120,000 for his temporary liberty.
He is under the custody of the Maayon Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.
Meanwhile, Pontevedra police served a warrant of arrest against another person wanted for alleged involvement in the illegal drug trade.
Police identified the suspect as alias “Boboy,” of legal age and a resident of Barangay Malag-it, Pontevedra, Capiz.
The suspect is facing charges for alleged violations of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The warrant of arrest was issued by a judge of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 19, Roxas City.
He is under the custody of the Pontevedra Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.
