ROXAS CITY – A mother and her son were caught Friday afternoon in a police drug buy-bust operation at Brgy. Tanque here.
The Station Drug Enforcement Team of the Roxas City PNP arrested Lorena Fresco and her son Regienald in an apartment at Sitio Ilaya, Barangay Tanque.
Recovered from the suspects were seven sachets of suspected shabu, P500 marked money and drug paraphernalia.
The two are in the custody of the Roxas City police while charges for violation of Republic Act No. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) are being readied against them.
