Luzon Economic Corridor forum targets 600 global investors

The United States, the Philippines and Japan will co-host the inaugural Luzon Economic Corridor Investment Forum on Sept. 10 and 11, 2026, in Manila.
Sponsored by the U.S. Trade and Development Agency, the forum will gather 600 international investors, industry leaders, project developers and government officials to showcase opportunities across the corridor and connect financiers with infrastructure projects ready for investment.
Securing private capital for these projects could improve transportation, energy supply and digital connectivity while reducing logistics costs, attracting industries and creating jobs for Filipinos.
The public benefit will ultimately depend on whether the investments produce accessible, resilient and financially sustainable infrastructure rather than projects that remain on planning documents.
“America’s leadership in the Indo-Pacific is built on trusted partnerships and a shared commitment to secure, high-quality infrastructure,” said Thomas R. Hardy, USTDA’s Deputy Director. “The LEC Investment Forum brings together the United States, Japan, the Philippines and partner nations from across the world around one goal: turning priority projects into commercial reality, while advancing our collective vision for a free and open Indo-Pacific.”
The Luzon Economic Corridor was launched in 2024 under the Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment and the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework Investment Accelerator.
The initiative initially prioritized transportation infrastructure involving ports and rail, clean-energy deployment supporting the semiconductor industry and the commercial development of Subic Bay.
The Manila forum will feature keynote remarks, panel discussions, project presentations and networking opportunities.
Discussions will focus on advanced manufacturing, digital connectivity, energy, transportation and logistics, and private-capital and financing connections.
Partner countries include Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Italy, the Republic of Korea, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
The forum will present a curated pipeline of priority infrastructure projects seeking investors, commercial partners and project-development support.
Sessions will provide investors with information about the Philippine investment climate, economic priorities and policy reforms shaping growth across the corridor.
Structured breakout sessions, an exposition and a deal-making room will allow project sponsors and prospective partners to hold more focused discussions.
Receptions will connect senior government leaders, investors, developers, technology providers, financiers and project sponsors.
Senior officials and corporate executives from the Philippines, the United States, Japan and partner countries will also discuss the corridor’s future.
Participants will undertake site visits to prospective projects in Subic Bay, Clark and Batangas.
The corridor connects Subic Bay, Clark, Manila and Batangas.
The area represents the Philippines’ largest economic engine, accounting for approximately 50% of the country’s gross domestic product.
It also serves as a major center for manufacturing, logistics and trade.
The corridor is intended to improve infrastructure, expand clean energy and strengthen Philippine semiconductor supply chains and agribusiness.
Registration details, the latest agenda, confirmed speakers and media information are available through the LEC Investment Forum website.
