An Ilonggo bettor from the town of Barotac Nuevo in Iloilo province bagged the P35-million jackpot of the Mega Lotto 6/45 draw last Wednesday night, according to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).
In its advisory posted on its social media page, PCSO said the Ilonggo bettor won the jackpot worth P35,235,440 after guessing the winning combination of 36-26-04-34-25-33. The lucky ticket was purchased in the town of Barotac Nuevo.
Meanwhile, 12 lucky bettors also won the second prize and will each receive P32,000. A total of 577 bettors also bagged the third prize and will take home P1,000 each.
Prizes above P10,000 are subject to a 20-percent deduction pursuant to the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Act.
PCSO has also warned that prizes that were not claimed by the public within one year from date of draw shall be considered forfeited under Republic Act No. 1169. (ERS)
