Paramount Pictures has released the official trailer for Regretting You, the upcoming film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel, set to hit Philippine cinemas on October 22.
Directed by Josh Boone (The Fault in Our Stars) and featuring an ensemble cast led by Allison Williams, Mckenna Grace, Mason Thames, Dave Franco, Scott Eastwood, and Willa Fitzgerald, the film promises a heartfelt exploration of love, betrayal, and family bonds.
“We read it. We felt it. Now we’re about to see it,” Paramount said in announcing the trailer, now streaming online.
Regretting You follows Morgan Grant (Williams) and her teenage daughter Clara (Grace) as they navigate life after a devastating accident exposes a shocking betrayal. The tragedy forces them to confront hidden family secrets, redefine love, and rediscover each other.
The drama also stars Dave Franco and Mason Thames, with Scott Eastwood, Willa Fitzgerald, Sam Morelos, and Clancy Brown in key roles.
Based on Hoover’s emotional novel, the screenplay is penned by Susan McMartin, with Hoover herself serving as an executive producer alongside Oliver Berben, Williams, Grace, Franco, and others.
The film is produced by Brunson Green, Anna Todd, Flavia Viotti, and Robert Kulzer, under Constantin Film, Harbinger Pictures, Frayed Pages, and north.five.six., in association with Domain Entertainment.
Regretting You blends the coming-of-age poignancy of The Fault in Our Stars with Hoover’s signature emotional intensity, offering audiences a cinematic journey through grief, resilience, and the enduring power of love.
