Lola, 68, ‘sexually molested’ by suitor, 26

A 26-year-old man remains at large after allegedly molesting a 68-year-old grandmother in Anilao, Iloilo evening of March 27, 2022.
The incident happened after Arnold (not his real name) and Lydia (also not her real name), both residents of Barangay Medina, Anilao, attended a neighbor’s birthday party.
Both went on a drinking spree and even took part in a videoke session before deciding to head home around 10:30 p.m.
The suspect allegedly offered to bring Lydia home.
As they were walking home, reports indicated that Arnold allegedly intimated his plans of romantically pursuing the victim.
But Lydia, a mother of three, reportedly declined citing she already has grandchildren. She also cited their age difference.
But Arnold brushed it off claiming that “age doesn’t matter.”
Shortly later, the suspect took the victim to a secluded area.

Reports also indicated that Arnold even brought the victim home.
The victim was rushed and is admitted at the Don Jose Montfort Medical Center Extension Hospital in Barotac Nuevo town due to heavy bleeding.
Executive Master Sergeant Rubie Hugo, chief of the Anilao PNP Women and Children’s Protection Desk, said the case is up for filing.
