ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A 24-year-old collector of a lending company was allegedly robbed by two unidentified suspects Saturday afternoon at Barangay Timpas, Panitan, Capiz.
Philip Beldia Cautivar of Sitio Puntod, Barangay Dinginan, Roxas City reported to Panitan Municipal Police that the robber happened at around 1:30 pm while on his way to Brgy. Timpas after collecting money from clients in Panitan public market.
He said that the incident occurred at the under-construction road where two persons on board on a white Honda XRM motorcycle blocked his path.
Cautivar said the back rider, who was wearing a black bonnet, suddenly pulled his jacket that caused him to falling down on the road. The suspect then pointed handgun at him and declared the heist.
The suspects took away his P40,000 collection and cellphone before fleeing towards Sigma. They remain at large.
