BACOLOD City – Landers Superstore at the Megaworld Upper East opened its doors to an initial 43,000 members here on Thursday.
The Bacolod branch is the 11th store and the biggest in the Philippines.
Landers president Greg Davis led the grand opening ceremony Wednesday with Bacolod City Mayor Alfredo “Albee” Benitez and Megaworld Corp Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer Kevin Tan.
Adding glitter to the occasion were showbiz couple Sarah Geronimo and Mateo Guidicelli, Ruffa Gutierrez, and Jericho Rosales.
The new flagship store gains distinction as the 11th Landers Superstore in the country and the first premium membership shopping store to open in Negros Island, bringing with it an unparalleled selection of world-class products, exclusive deals, and innovative perks never before seen in this region, according to a press statement from Megaworld.
It also marks Landers’ unprecedented growth in the post-pandemic years, rapidly gaining on its goal of spreading the superstore’s unique brand of shopping expertise to more communities around the country, especially outside of Luzon.
The Upper East – Landers’ SUPER new address
Landers and property giant Megaworld is further strengthening their fruitful partnership with the rise of Landers Bacolod in its premier township, The Upper East, the press statement further said.
This will be the fourth Landers store located within a Megaworld property, following Landers Alabang West, Landers Arcovia City, and Landers Uptown Bonifacio.

The store building itself is situated near two condominiums and will also eventually be connected to the soon-to-rise Upper East Mall through a bridgeway.
These promising developments will ensure Landers Bacolod’s success and further cement Megaworld’s The Upper East as a top destination in the city.

The interiors, on the other hand, feature a shopper-friendly layout with spacious aisles and well-lit signages complemented by high, airy ceilings, beautiful wall accents, tasteful product displays, and wide glass windows that allow natural light to flow in, making every visit ttruly Instagram-worthy.
Other highlights of the store include its cozy membership lounge and dining area, accessibility features like PWD ramps, and expansive parking space.
What makes Landers Bacolod truly impressive is its diverse selection of topnotch imported and local goods that cater to both families and local business owners.
The store carries a well-curated mix of grocery staples including fresh produce sourced from local farms as well as exclusive items like hard-to-find brands and high quality but affordable private labels.
For food options, Landers Bacolod has its own restaurant and coffee shop to satisfy hungry shoppers and curious visitors.
