LANDBANK’s AGRISENSO Plus Lending Program is transforming how small farmers, fishers, and agrarian reform beneficiaries access capital, technology, and markets—enabling them to scale operations and build more profitable agri-based enterprises across Western Visayas.
Offering loans at a fixed 4.0% annual interest, simplified documentation, and free insurance, AGRISENSO Plus is designed to make agri-financing more inclusive and responsive to the evolving needs of rural producers.
“With AGRISENSO Plus, LANDBANK is bringing more than just credit,” said LANDBANK President and CEO Lynette V. Ortiz. “We are building linkages, capacity, and opportunities to transform agri-livelihoods into viable enterprises that can compete and grow.”
The program provides value chain-based financing for a wide range of agricultural activities and links borrowers with anchor firms to secure direct access to markets.
Partners include Kita Agritech Corporation, Sarisuki Stores Inc., TAO Foods Company Inc., Yovel East Research and Development Inc., and Unified Tillers Agriculture Cooperative.
Through these partnerships, smallholders can focus on production while anchor firms help ensure off-take, logistics, and price stability.
The program is bolstered by LANDBANK ASCEND (Agri-Fishery Support through Capability Enhancement for Nationwide Development), which offers digital financial literacy, sustainable farming practices, and enterprise training.
To further enhance inclusion, LANDBANK also launched the AGRISENSO Plus Card—a digital savings account tailored for farmers and fishers that requires no opening deposit or maintaining balance.
Users can access the LANDBANK Mobile Banking App to pay bills, shop online, make cardless withdrawals, and receive overseas remittances.
As of May 2025, LANDBANK has disbursed PHP1.16 billion in loans under AGRISENSO Plus, directly benefiting 6,853 borrowers.
The program’s rollout in Pototan, Iloilo—Western Visayas’ rice granary—marks its sixth regional expansion, following earlier launches in Pampanga, Cagayan, Isabela, Batanes, and Bukidnon.
LANDBANK said the program aligns with its mandate to strengthen food security, boost rural incomes, and advance countryside development through sustainable and accessible financing.
