Land Bank of the Philippines (LANDBANK) reported PHP 3.14 trillion in digital transactions in the first nine months of 2025, reflecting a 36% increase in value and a 27% rise in transaction volume year-on-year.
The state-run bank processed more than 550 million digital transactions during the period, highlighting growing consumer demand for fast, secure, and accessible financial services.
LANDBANK’s digital ecosystem includes the Mobile Banking App (MBA); iAccess; Link.BizPortal; weAccess; Electronic Modified Disbursement System (eMDS); LANDBANKasama; e-Tax Payment System (eTPS); BIR VDS Portal; Bulk Credit System (LBCS); and Remittance System (LBRS).
The bank showcased its digital finance initiatives during the Singapore FinTech Festival 2025 at the Singapore EXPO Convention Center on Nov. 13.
“Innovation, at its heart, must make people’s lives easier — more connected, more secure, and more inclusive,” LANDBANK Executive Vice President Leila C. Martin said.
Martin said LANDBANK’s digital transformation was anchored on the principle of modernizing systems not only for competitiveness but to better serve Filipinos.
The LANDBANK MBA remained the primary driver of digital activity, logging over 492.44 million transactions worth PHP 418.40 billion, representing a 26% rise in volume and a 38% increase in value from the previous year.
The iAccess retail banking portal processed 2.59 million transactions totaling PHP 11.89 billion.
Link.BizPortal facilitated 6.76 million transactions valued at PHP 12.27 billion, reflecting 20% growth in volume and 37% in value year-on-year.
The institutional online platform weAccess saw strong performance with 32.85 million transactions amounting to PHP 1.29 trillion.
ATM payroll transactions accounted for 26.95 million of weAccess transactions with a value of PHP 266.71 billion.
The eMDS platform, used for government disbursements, recorded 3.63 million transactions worth PHP 1.14 trillion, up 32% in volume and 40% in value.
The LANDBANKasama Program handled 2.38 million transactions amounting to PHP 11.68 billion through its network of agent banking partners in geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas.
The eTPS processed 554,151 tax payment transactions valued at PHP 132.93 billion, marking 21% growth in volume and 16% in value.
In its debut year, the newly launched BIR VDS Portal recorded a total transaction value of PHP 1.93 billion.
The LBCS facilitated 6.08 million batch disbursement transactions worth PHP 52.37 billion, with volume growing 7% and value up 6%.
The LBRS recorded 650,203 transactions totaling PHP 58.26 billion, an 11% increase in value year-on-year.
