ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A lady who was previously jailed for illegal drugs was arrested again Monday evening in a drug buy-bust operation at Brgy. 9 here.
Police identified the suspect as Rosaly Villa, 31, of Brgy. San Esteban, Pilar, Capiz.
Recovered from Villa were five sachets of suspected shabu, Php1,100 marked money, a cellphone, a foundation canister, and personal cash.
The operation was conducted by the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) led by PMaj Francisco Paguia under the supervision of PCol Julio Gustilo Jr., Capiz police director.
The suspect was previously arrested in 2016 after she allegedly visited a drug den.
She was jailed in 2019 but was released after a plea-bargaining agreement.
Villa is presently detained at the Roxas City police station. Charges for violations of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against her.
