Lacson, Ferrer to take oath on June 25

BACOLOD City- The oathtaking of newly elected provincial officials of Negros Occidental will be held on June 25, 2022 at the Provincial Capitol Grounds here.
Re-elected Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson, who will serve his second term, said that he will take his oath before San Carlos Regional Trial Court Judge Amy Alabado Avellano.
Also scheduled to take their oaths of office are reelected Vice Gov. Jeffrey Ferrer and Board Members Rommel Debulgado, Araceli Somosa, Samson Mirhan, Sixto Pal Guanzon Jr, Manuel Frederick Ko, Andrew Montelibano, Jose Maria Alonso, Andrew Martin Torres, Rita Gatuslao, Anton Occeño, Jeffrey Tubola and Valentino Miguel Alonso.
Asked if there will be national officials invited to the oathtaking rites, Lacson said there will be none as they want to keep the affair simple.
Expected to attend the rites are the 32 mayors of Negros Occidental as well as Negros Occidental district representatives.
