ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A 43-year-old laborer was shot dead by two unidentified riding-in-tandem suspects Wednesday evening, March 29, at Barangay San Roque in Dumalag, Capiz.
Police identified the victim as Rudy Fuerte Fresnido of said barangay.
Investigation by Dumalag PNP indicated that the victim was on his way home from a store when the two suspects on a blue Rusi motorcycle shot him.
Fresnido was taken by the Dumalag Emergency Response Team to Sen. Gerry Roxas District Hospital in Dao, Capiz but he was declared dead on arrival by the attending doctor. The victim suffered several fatal gunshot wounds in the different parts of his body.
The police are conducting hot pursuit operations against the suspects.
