Laborer Nabbed With 3 Unlicensed Firearms in Capiz

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A laborer was arrested early Monday morning, April 7, for possession of three unlicensed firearms during a search operation in Sitio Takas, Barangay Nagba, Cuartero, Capiz.
The operation was conducted under a search warrant issued on March 31, 2025, by Judge Lorencito Belo Diaz of the Regional Trial Court, Hall of Justice, Roxas City.
Recovered from the suspect were two 12-gauge homemade shotguns with live ammunition and one .38 caliber revolver with three live rounds.
The suspect is in the custody of the Cuartero Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.
Charges for violating Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, will be filed against him.
