ROXAS CITY, Capiz— A laborer added to the list of drug surrenderers who are facing illegal drug charges following his arrest Thursday evening in Pontevedra, Capiz.
Joint forces of the Station Drug Enforcement Team of Pontevedra Municipal Police Station and Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) arrested Jennifer Bedeo, 35, of Brgy. Poblacion President Roxas, Capiz in a drug buy-bust operation conducted in Barangay Tabuc, Pontevedra, Capiz.
Recovered from Bedeo were three sachets of suspected shabu, P500 marked money, P17,000 boodle or fake money, cellphone, and P200 personal cash.
Police estimated the total value of the recovered illegal drugs at P34,000.
Bedeo was arrested and detained before for the same offense, but he was released after a plea-bargaining agreement.
The suspect is presently detained at Pontevedra municipal police station while charges for violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 are being readied against him.
