Laborer faces illegal drug rap for selling ‘shabu’

ROXAS City – A 47-year-old laborer from Rizal St., Brgy. VII, Roxas City is facing an illegal drug case for allegedly selling suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation.
Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed Tuesday against Jude Thadeous Roxas of said barangay.
Roxas was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation Friday evening last week.
Recovered from the suspect were three sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P34,000.
The Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) led by Police Major Francisco Paguia conducted the operation in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
The suspect is presently detained at the Roxas City police station.
