Laborer, 28, Dies from Electrocution

BACOLOD CITY – A 28-year-old man died after being electrocuted at Hacienda Nasipunan, Barangay 12, Victorias City, Negros Occidental, on Thursday.
Police withheld the victim’s name but confirmed he was a laborer and a resident of Barangay 10.
According to a police investigation, the victim was working in a sugarcane field around 8 a.m.
While loading sugarcane onto a truck, he accidentally touched an electrical wire.
The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was declared dead.
