CADIZ CITY – Suntrust Properties Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Megaworld Corp., celebrated the ceremonial blessing of its new house models at La Riviera, a coastal-inspired residential development in Barangay Tinampaan, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental on March 22, 2025.
The event was held in partnership with Stateland Inc. and attended by Suntrust executives, Cadiz City officials, homebuyers and partners.
Guests were given a firsthand look at the model homes and an immersive preview of the lifestyle that La Riviera aims to offer.
“This development once again reflects our dedication to providing a home for every Filipino family,” Suntrust said in a statement.
La Riviera features four contemporary model units, including the newly launched Linden and Aspen house models.
The Linden is a two-story single detached unit with a lot area of 150 square meters and a floor area of 142.42 square meters.
It includes four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a kitchen, balcony and carport provision.
The Aspen is a two-story duplex unit with a lot area of 97.75 square meters and a floor area of 108.82 square meters.
It includes three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen with a nook, and carport provision.
These models join two earlier offerings—Dale, a bungalow duplex, and Brooke, a bungalow single-attached unit—offering a range of options for homebuyers.
“We aim to provide every family an opportunity to experience a vibrant lifestyle blended with convenience and security that only La Riviera can provide,” said Jerry R. Rubis, Suntrust first vice president for sales and marketing.
La Riviera is a coastal-inspired community designed with resort-style amenities including a clubhouse, swimming pools, shower rooms, pocket parks, a playground and a basketball court.
It also features concrete sidewalks, well-paved roadways, elevated water tanks, underground drainage, streetlights, 24/7 security and a perimeter wall to ensure resident safety and comfort.
Strategically located, La Riviera is close to CityMall Cadiz, Cadiz City Port, Tingson’s Beach Resort, Philippine Normal University and Cadiz Health Center.
Its location positions residents at the center of local commerce, leisure and connectivity.
Cadiz City, known as a key hub for sugar production and seafood trade, is also home to a seaport with links to Cebu, Masbate and Iloilo.
This makes it a rising destination for both tourism and business.
“The future is here in La Riviera,” Rubis said.
“We envision our residents and their families enjoying a comfortable and magnificent lifestyle. We also invite neighboring communities to be part of Cadiz’s cultural and economic success. Soon, Cadiz will become a city of progress,” he added.
La Riviera derives its name from the Italian word “riviera,” meaning coastline, drawing inspiration from its proximity to the Cadiz shoreline just a few kilometers away.
Prices start at PHP2.5 million, offering picturesque views and a thoughtfully designed environment for tranquil coastal living.
La Riviera represents a new standard in serene, sustainable community development.
It is not just a township—it is a vision of the future for Filipino families seeking quality homes in a scenic, strategic location.
Suntrust Properties, established in 1997, has long been an advocate of Filipino homeownership.
With over 50 developments in North Luzon, Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao, its portfolio includes residential projects, commercial spaces, export processing zones and a prestigious golf community.
In 2018, Suntrust expanded its reach with the acquisition of Stateland Inc., a 42-year-old real estate firm, further strengthening its mission.
With 27 years of experience, Suntrust continues to build communities that turn dreams into reality and shape the future of Filipino homeownership.
