A 31-year-old man wanted for a rape charge was arrested at his residence in La Carlota City, Negros Occidental around 9 a.m. of Oct 16, 2021.
The accused was identified as Diony Mendoza of Cristobal St, Villa Caridad Subdivision in Brgy 3 Poblacion.
Mendoza was the subject of an arrest warrant issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 63 Judge Cyclamen Jison Fernandez of La Carlota City on Oct 8, 2021.
The suspect was accused of raping a 23-year-old girl in July 2021.
No bail was recommended for his temporary liberty.
Mendoza is now in the custody of La Carlota City Police Station.
