The Philippines successfully hosted the Kiwanis International Convention 2026 from June 24 to 27, 2026 at the Marriott Hotel Manila, marking the convention’s return to the Asia-Pacific (ASPAC) region after more than a decade.
As a global organization dedicated to serving children and communities, Kiwanis International advances volunteerism and community development through service projects and community programs.
Supported by the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines, Kiwanis united over 1,200 Kiwanian leaders from 31 countries for networking receptions, ASPAC cultural showcases, regional recognition, and membership development activities. Highlights of the event also included The Colors of ASPAC Recognition Night, which celebrated the diversity and impact of Kiwanis in the region, and the Kiwanis International Gala, which culminated the convention.
The annual convention’s Philippine debut solidifies the country’s growing portfolio of Meetings, Incentive Travel, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) venues capable of hosting large-scale business functions. Its success reflects how the campaign, MICE Philippines: We Take Your Business to Heart, advocates putting people at the forefront of global business events.
Throughout the convention, participants learned about the Kiwanis Children’s Fund and The Kiwanis Possibility Project, both of which support clubs and communities worldwide through partnerships and scalable service initiatives that expand opportunities to serve children. Discussions also highlighted Service Leadership Programs (SLPs), which empower young people to develop leadership skills through community service and civic engagement.
“We are proud to have welcomed thousands of Kiwanian leaders, proving that meaningful travel goes hand-in-hand with strengthening communities and empowering future generations,” said TPB Chief Operating Officer Maria Margarita Montemayor Nograles.
As the Philippines continues to attract major international events, the success of the Kiwanis International Convention at the Marriott Grand Ballroom demonstrates the country’s ability to top world-class event experiences in Asia and beyond.
