Kaya FC-Iloilo tramples Cebu FC for 5th straight win

The two-week-long break for Kaya FC-Iloilo paid off big time as they shut down Global Cebu FC, 5-1, in the Philippines Football League.
It was a masterful display of offense for Iloilo, as they seemed to score each time they ran the pitch going into the opposing goal.
Jordan Mintah drew first blood, scoring a wonderful goal in the 9th minute of the match, and the electrified Kaya FC never looked back and penetrated at will against Cebu’s tough defense.
After a wonderful controlled dribbling exhibition, Darryl Roberts then fired a strike, swishing through Cebu’s net in the 13th minute for Iloilo.
All five goals for Kaya FC were scored in the first half, as Global Cebu’s defense became tougher, doubling up their efforts on the defensive end.
Kaya then started to miss shots in the second half and played a defensive style of game that favored Global Cebu’s way, good thing Global only scored 1 goal off a Paolo Salenga conversion in the additional time.
Jordan Mintah came out hot in the match, scoring another familiar hat-trick for Iloilo.
Kaya FC will look to bounce back against rival Ceres Negros FC in the clash of the titans this coming September 18, 2019.
