In celebration of the Kalibo Señor Sto. Niño Ati-Atihan Festival 2026, the Local Government Unit of Kalibo (LGU Kalibo), through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), has partnered with the Department of Trade and Industry–Aklan (DTI-Aklan), the Kalibo Ati-Atihan Festival Board (KAFEB), and Citymall Kalibo to present the Kalibo Ati-Atihan Product Expo 2026.
The 10-day expo, which runs from January 12 to 21, 2026, is being held at Citymall Kalibo. It aims to promote local ingenuity by showcasing products from micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) based in Kalibo and nearby municipalities.
A total of 65 MSMEs are participating in the expo, representing a broad spectrum of Aklan’s industries across both food and non-food sectors. Among the featured products are traditional snacks and pasalubong items, fashion accessories, footwear, homestyle decorations, souvenir goods, and the globally renowned Aklan piña fabric.
“This marketing activity in celebration of the Kalibo Señor Sto. Niño Ati-Atihan Festival, more than being an annual trade fair, is an exhibit of the Aklanon MSMEs’ craftsmanship and continued innovation over the years. We are always looking forward to the new and improved products that will be showcased because they represent the vibrant culture and story of the province of Aklan,” said DTI-Aklan Provincial Director Romel L. Amihan.
An official opening program was held on January 12 at 10:00 a.m., attended by LGU Kalibo officials, invited buyers, exhibitors, and special guests.
The product expo forms part of LGU Kalibo’s broader efforts to empower local entrepreneurs and drive inclusive economic development through festivals that blend culture, commerce, and community.
