The turnover gives the local government unit access to comprehensive and disaggregated data that can guide policy formulation, inform resource allocation, identify priority sectors, and support the design of targeted interventions responsive to constituents’ needs.
City Administrator Atty. Mac Lord O. Zafra personally welcomed the PSA staff and led the acceptance of the flash drive containing the 2024 CBMS data files.
He was joined by City Planning and Development Coordinator Susana M. Casalem, EnP; Assistant City Planning and Development Coordinator Engr. Eric D. Einosas, EnP; and Statistician I Margaret Mary E. Kennedy.
The data were officially delivered by Statistical Specialist II Fredimar M. Gonzales and Statistical Analyst Edwin R. Deocares of the PSA Negros Occidental Provincial Statistical Office.
The turnover signifies a collaborative effort between the PSA and the City of Kabankalan in ensuring that accurate and up-to-date data are accessible to support long-term development planning, transparency, and effective public service delivery.
