ROXAS CITY, Capiz — A 31-year-old unemployed man was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by Ivisan police at around 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, in Poblacion Norte, Ivisan, Capiz.
Police identified the suspect as alias Nono, a street-level individual and resident of the area.
Recovered from the suspect were two sachets of suspected shabu weighing 1 gram with a standard drug price of PHP 6,800, PHP 500 in buy-bust money, and several non-drug items.
The suspect is in the custody of Ivisan Philippine National Police station, where charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared against him.
