PBA team Phoenix Fuel Masters handed out their second team donation as part of their plan to spend their salaries and help amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Each player from the Fuel Masters decided to donate their salary for April and they chose San Juan and Pasig as their beneficiaries.
The first wave of the Fuel Masters’ donation drive was handed to San Juan City through its mayor, Francis Zamora where they gave packs of relief goods.
This time, Phoenix wingman JC Intal and team manager Paolo Bugia personally gave the personal protective equipment (PPE) and face masks to Pasig mayor Vico Sotto.
According to Bugia, the kits they distributed numbered around hundreds of bodysuits and thousands of face masks.
“We just delivered it to the Pasig City Hall and from there, they will distribute it to various Pasig hospitals. I think yung isa is with the Pasig Health Clinic,” said Bugia.
