Kaya FC-Iloilo’s newest member immediately went to work as the AFC Champions League playoff matches will be kicking off today.
Former Azkals Development Team superstar Jarvey Gayoso has finally joined his new home after completing his campaign with the PH Azkals in UAE.
Gayoso reportedly arrived in Thailand where the AFC Champions League will be taking place and had several runs with Kaya before match day.
Aside from Gayoso, Kaya’s new chief tactician Graham Harvey also joined the party and is expected to call the shots against Shanghai Port.
Coach Harvey already had first-hand experience coaching the team after a practice match was held and is now starting to devise game plans for their Chinese foes.
“I felt the boys did really well particularly in the second half. They listened to what they were asked to do with the ball and managed to score some good goals in the second half,” Harvey said.
If Kaya FC wins the match against Shanghai port, the Iloilo-based football team will now qualify for the main draw of the prestigious tournament.
