Filipina volleyball superstar Jaja Santiago came up big for Japanese Volleyball squad Ageo Medics after a five-set win against the Okayama Seagulls, 17-25, 25-23, 25-20, 25-20.
Santiago stepped up defensively for the Ageo Medics and helped the squad maintain their composure amidst crucial offensive exchanges.
During the five-set matchup, Santiago contributed nine points and two blocks for 11 points.
It was also Ageo Medics’ last game of the season and the huge win brought them the fifth-place finish in the Japan V. League.
During the Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Forum, Santiago revealed she will be coming home this March but revealed that she will continue to look for opportunities playing overseas.
