Jomar Anne Health Marketing Inc. (JAHMI), the exclusive distributor of Yakult products in the Panay and Guimaras Islands, celebrates its 45 years of promoting health and wellness through the trusted probiotic drink.
Founded in 1978 as D & D Marketing, the company rebranded as Jomar Anne Marketing in 1980 and later became JAHMI.
Since its early days, JAHMI has remained committed to distributing Yakult, making it the second Yakult-exclusive distributor in the Philippines.
Yasuyuki Yufune, Executive Vice President of Yakult Philippines, said 45 years in the industry is not just a number, but a representation of decades of dedication, innovation, and unwavering commitment to contribute to the healthy society in the Philippines.
“Your achievements are testament to the hard work of everyone who has contributed. this journey. From your founding members to your current years, each person has a vital role in building the legacy,” he said.
Yufune also called on stakeholders to remain united and committed to achieving shared goals, saying that “our combined and concerted efforts will continue to make a meaningful impact on the health and wellness of our communities.”
Yakult Philippines President Alberto Dy Sun praised the company’s resilience in overcoming early challenges and sustaining its operations over the decades.
“This milestone represents an extraordinary journey and dedication and an unwavering partnership that has better contributed to advancing health and wellness across Iloilo and nearby provinces,” he said.
Joemari Emmanuel Ong, Chief Operating officer of JAHMI, attributed the company’s sustainability to the core values instilled by its founders: diligence, perseverance, cooperation, and collaboration.
“When we collaborate, when we synergize, we become more than the sum of its parts. At Yakult Panay, we believe that 1 plus 1 equals 3 or 4. There is greater power when we work together,” he said.
He also underscored the importance of top-of-mind awareness in building strong connections with customers and among employees.
“We acknowledge everybody’s effort, we salute the contribution of every Yakult Lady, every employee, every management, departments big or small, for they are a big part of our success as an institution,” he added.
Today, with nearly 289 employees and Yakult Lady across sales, marketing, IT, and logistics, JAHMI ensures the efficient distribution of Yakult Original (Red) and Yakult Light (Blue) throughout Panay and Guimaras. The company also continuously adopts modern technologies to improve operations and customer service.
As it marks this milestone year, JAHMI remains committed to its vision of championing health — one bottle of Yakult at a time, embracing the spirit of being “greater together for health, tiyan kami magaling.”
