ISUFST Entrance Exam Set for April 12; Application Deadline Nears as Demand Surges

BAROTAC NUEVO, Iloilo – The Iloilo State University of Fisheries Science and Technology (ISUFST) is set to hold its University Entrance Examination (UEE) on April 12, 2025, as confirmed during an Admission Committee meeting on March 14 at the Main Campus.

With the March 28 deadline for admission applications fast approaching, aspiring students are urged to complete their requirements immediately to secure a slot.

As of today, ISUFST has received nearly 4,500 applications for approximately 1,200 available slots across its five campuses. A final surge of applicants is expected before the deadline.

Last year, ISUFST received nearly 5,000 applications for the same number of slots, reflecting the growing demand for programs in fisheries, agriculture, education, management, science, and technology.

Admission Process and Online Application

ISUFST has been accepting applications since Jan. 2, 2025, through the Student Support Center (SSC), formerly the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS).

How to Apply Online

1. Access the application link for your preferred ISUFST campus.
2. Fill out the application form with personal and academic details.
3. Upload required documents:
   • Form 138A (SF9), Certificate of Rating (ALS), or Transcript of Records (whichever applies).
   • Two 2×2 ID pictures with a white background (for new and transfer students).
4. Receive a confirmation via email or SMS, which will include the scheduled date and venue for the entrance exam.

Entrance Exam and Admission Timeline

The University Entrance Exam (UEE) will take place on Saturday, April 12, 2025.

This is the only scheduled exam date, and no alternative dates will be provided. Applicants must complete their applications by March 28, 2025, to be eligible.

After the entrance exam:

• Aptitude tests and interviews for board programs will be conducted from April 23-25, 2025.
• Interviews for non-board programs will begin on April 28, 2025.
• Final admission results will be posted by PAMMCO on May 21, 2025.

All dates are tentative but nearly finalized, subject to change only in unforeseen circumstances.
