The construction of the bench flume in the Aganan River Irrigation System in Oton, Iloilo is ongoing and has reached 19.34% accomplishment as of July 25, 2021, despite the Enhanced Community Quarantine.
The project that will serve 198 farmer-beneficiaries is starting to take shape since its kickoff on June 2, 2021.

The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Region VI remains committed to its mandate to construct irrigation systems despite the pandemic by assuring that workers are provided with safety protections against the COVID-19 virus and following the construction safety guidelines from the Inter-Agency Task Force.
Since the beginning of the year, 23 irrigation projects were constructed, rehabilitated, and repaired in the provinces of Iloilo and Guimaras under the office of the NIA-Iloilo-Guimaras Irrigation Management Office.
