IRONKIDS Cebu in Lapu-Lapu partners with RLC Residences for 2024 Events

Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu – The IRONMAN Group Philippines and RLC Residences announced a new partnership in 2023. As the residential brand of Robinsons Land Corporation, RLC Residences has become the title sponsor for the 2024 IRONKIDS Lapu-Lapu and IRONKIDS Davao events.

The inaugural event of this collaboration will take place this April, supporting budding young athletes. The aquathlon, set at The Reef Island Resort in Mactan, will welcome participants aged 6 to 15.

Mr. Dan Carlo Torres, Head of Brand Management at RLC Residences, expressed excitement about the unfolding partnership. “We’ve always been supportive of the IRONMAN series, especially IRONKIDS, because we believe in the importance of fostering an active and purposeful lifestyle from a young age. The IRONKIDS event in Lapu-Lapu will offer various age group categories: 6 to 8 years old, 9 to 10 years old, 11 to 12 years old, and 13 to 15 years old. Mixed team relay categories are available for teams of 6-10 year-olds and 11-15 year-olds.

The event’s swim and run courses, along with the transition area and finish line, are located within The Reef Island Resort, a gated community offering amenities such as a beach, lap pool, and game room. The resort also features a restaurant operated by the esteemed Cebu-based Abaca chain.
