A ranking member of the Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) died in a vehicular accident on the afternoon of May 10 in Jaro, Iloilo City.
Major Sullen Domingo, who was the chief of the IPPO Supply Section, was involved in a crash when his motorcycle struck a 19-year-old pedestrian and then collided with a utility post at Barangay Sambag around 4:20 p.m.
Lieutenant Colonel Ethan Estaya, chief of the Iloilo City Police Office Traffic Management Unit, reported that Domingo was traveling home to Barangay Sinikway, Lapuz, Iloilo City when the incident occurred.
According to reports, Domingo was speeding and was ejected from his motorcycle. He was wearing a full-faced crash helmet.
The 19-year-old pedestrian was conscious when transported to the hospital and had sustained swelling on his forehead.
