An Indian national was killed in a road crash late evening of Nov. 12 in Jaro, Iloilo City.
The fatality was identified as Hardeep Singh, 25, of Don Francisco Village, Barangay M.H. del Pilar, Jaro.
Police investigation showed the collision happened as the Mitsubishi Mirage sedan driven by alias Sheina was executing a U-turn in front of a gasoline station along Mc Arthur Drive in Barangay Quintin Salas, Jaro.
Before Sheina, 33, of Barangay Balantang, Jaro, could completely maneuver her vehicle to the other lane, Singh’s Honda Click motorcycle bumped into the sedan’s left side portion.
Singh suffered head injuries. He was taken to The Medical City but did not pull through.
It was gathered that both parties had initially agreed to settle the case amicably.
