Kevin Pison Piamonte, a FAMAS winner and award-winning Ilonggo artist, is preparing for his upcoming full-length film titled ‘CANDÈ’ – a coming-of-age family drama set against the backdrop of the famous Nuestra Señora de Candelaria of Jaro.
This project is being produced by fellow Ilonggo trailblazers and successful business personalities, Atty. Jobert Peñaflorida and his wife, Rhea Peñaflorida.
The film is currently in its pre-production stage, and the team is organizing an extensive search for the three lead characters.
The casting call for the roles of Young Timothy, Boyet, and Don-Don (all young boys) will take place on Sunday, June 25th, at The Box, located at ILOMOCA Festive Mall in Megaworld Business Park, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
The director and the casting team will be looking for potential Ilonggo superstars who are perfect for the required roles in the film.
Pre-registration is appreciated, but walk-ins will also be entertained. The film is scheduled to start shooting from January to March 2024.
