He was apprehended by members of the Tigbauan Municipal Police Station in coordination with the Talisay City Police Station.
Julie was arrested by virtue of a warrant for two counts of rape by carnal knowledge under Article 266-A, Paragraph 1(A), in relation to Article 266-B of the Revised Penal Code.
The arrest warrant was issued by the 6th Regional Trial Court, Branch 67, in Guimbal, Iloilo, on Sept. 16, 2024.
No bail was recommended for his temporary release.
While in custody, police also served another arrest warrant for sexual abuse under Section 5(b) of Republic Act 7610, docketed under Criminal Case No. 4200.

Captain Alfred Mansoy, Tigbauan police chief, said there was one complainant in both cases.
Julie was accused of molesting his wife’s 16-year-old relative.
