The Iloilo Mark V. Pinggol (MVP) Taekwondo gym’s hot streak of medal hauling isn’t finished and impressed once again during the 2021 Visayas Online New Face of the Year tournament.
Fresh off a dominant 3rd Lents Taekwondo Worldwide Sports Online Poomsae Open 2021, the prized jins from the prominent taekwondo gym clinched a total of 7 gold, 8 silver, and 6 bronze medals.
Ianna Gabriella Rosales, Pearl Danielle Rosales, Eduardo Adenic, Zachary Neil Lopez, Denzel Espadilla, and Sheine Nicole De Asis flaunted their skills and brought gold medals for the Iloilo-city based taekwondo gym.
Meanwhile, Margarette Gem Obsequio, Sirch Einreb Damaolao, Alicia Sophia Gutierrez, Elisha Mae Paradero, Eujean Ivanka Castete, Charee Marie Florence Genecela, and Alyanah Julienne Tionko nabbed silver medals.
Third-placers during the prestigious tournament were Alexis Araneta, Shires Pastolero, Chrystelle Eine Siangco, Francheska Isobelle Dunton, and Maria Beatriz Santos.
The MVP jins competed in the Free Speed Kicking category, Kickpad Kicking, and the Poomsae categories.
