The Iloilo Mark V. Pinggol (MVP) taekwondo gym ruled another national Poomsae tournament.
After an impressive run during the recently concluded 2021 Online Visayas CPJ Poomsae and Speed Kicking Championships where all eight of the MVP jins scored medals, the Mr. Pinggol mentored gym collected 14 total medals in the 2021 Smart/MVPSF Online National Poomsae Championships.
The prized MVP jins managed to haul four gold medals, three silvers, and seven bronze going against the best poomsae jins in the Philippines.
Headlining the gold medalists is award-winning staple Cyd Edryc Esmaña, Julianna Martha Uy, Viene Marie Dulaca, and Alicia Sophia Gutierrez.
Meanwhile, second-place finishers are Jenella Ashley Tionko, Phil Caleb Regalado, and Maria Beatriz Santos.
Elisha Miela Paradero, Margarette Gem Obsequio, Sirch Einreb Damaolao, Shanen Anica Feranco, Justin Adrian Apura, and Crisgel Castro took home the bronze medals.
The recent national tourney win makes it their sixth total with just four months into 2021 and the prized gym is planning to join more competitions and banner the City of Love, Western Visayas, and the country for more.
