Iloilo Mark V. Pinggol (MVP) continues to be one of the best performing taekwondo gyms in Western Visayas.
The MVP taekwondo gym flaunted another classic performance in the 2nd Lents Taekwondo Worldwide Sports Online Open 2020.
Three of their best jins managed to best the other top-performers from all over the world and clinched silver medals in their respective categories.
Cyd Edryc Esmaña continued his dominant outing on the international stage and completely took over in the Cadet Male Blackbelt category while Julianna Martha Uy had an impressive outing in the Cadet Female Blackbelt.
Meanwhile, during the blackbelt mixed pair over 17 category, MVP’s Joshua Cachero teamed up with Venancio Taekwondo Academy’s Mikee Rose Regala and managed to edge Czech Republic, Russia, USA, and Iran.
Aside from Esmaña, Uy, and Cachero, another two MVP jins also managed to land in the top ten of their respective categories.
Glaiza Fae Cordero ranked fifth in the female blackbelt 11-under while Crisgel Castro showed he belonged with the top boys in the male cadet blackbelt after notching 6th place.
