The Iloilo Mark V. Pinggol (MVP) Taekwondo gym recently made waves in the 2021 Online Visayas CPJ Poomsae and Speed Kicking Championships.
Eight prized MVP jins all impressed and clinched medals in their respective categories to end another tournament with a bang.
Alexis Eunice Araneta, Julianna Martha Uy, and Andria Margaret Palabrica continued their dominant performance from their past stint and delivered the three gold medals for MVP.
Meanwhile, second-place finishers in the Visayas tourney were Niesha Kariz Pequierda, Shanen Anica Feranco, and Araneta in the kick pad kicking category.
Completing the list of the medal awardees are Justin Adrian Apura, Geon Ivan Dulaca, Maria Beatriz Santos, and Enzo Lucio Cape.
The Mark V. Pinggol mentored kids continued their outstanding performance after ruling the Philippine Taekwondo New Face of the Year 2021 Speed Kicking tournament.
Last month’s prestigious tournament was graced well by the Iloilo-based taekwondo gym after hauling a total of 19 medals, (8 gold, 6 silver, 5 bronze).
