The Iloilo City Taekwondo and Fitness Center by Jojo Castro is back on the international stage and clinched a total of 6 medals in the recently concluded 6th World Taekwondo Online Sharks Venezuela Championship.
Fresh off a spectacular run during the Poomsae Lovers Online International Championship 2021 hosted by China, the Castro-led jins are once again stars of the international limelight.
Six brave jins from Castro’s taekwondo program took the challenge and represented not only the City of Love but also the Philippines.
Eunice Angela Castante, Paul Dominic Callado, Travis Gunnar Castro, and Clark Zed Abello shone the most after delivering the four gold medals for JOCAS.
Meanwhile, Jayden Drew Fajutrao placed silver in kyorugi and Jariz Renee Geraldoy nabbed the bronze medal in the same category.
This is already the fourth international competition that the famous taekwondo gym joined after successful stints in Argentina, Hong Kong, and USA.
