Indeed, Iloilo is “Embracing the Future of Modern Sporting Events.”
This coming August 24, 2019 Iloilo City Sports Division in partnership with Acclaim E-sports and Events is organizing an all-female 5v5 Mobile Legends Tournament.
The tournament will be part of Iloilo City’s 82nd Charter Day, together with other e-sports events including League of Legends.
The event is also co-organized by Mobile Legends Iloilo Official, an active community that supports ML events in the province.
With Iloilo City Sports’ strong campaign in adopting e-sports, these activities will serve as a stepping stone for further e-sports activities.
The champion team will be awarded 3,000 pesos, second placers 2,000 pesos, and third 1,000 pesos.
Despite the strong support towards e-sports, the Iloilo City Government reminds the youth to play hard, but study harder.
