The Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) seized more than PHP 42 million worth of illegal drugs during the first quarter of 2026.
Records from the ICPO’s City Operations and Management Unit (COMU) show that around 6.207 kilograms of suspected shabu were confiscated in 170 citywide operations from Jan. 1 to March 31, 2026.
The 90-day anti-drug campaign also yielded more than 20 grams of marijuana.
The seized shabu carried an estimated street value of PHP 42,208,254.
The operations resulted in the arrest of 211 drug personalities — 63 high-value targets (HVTs), 146 street-level individuals (SLIs), and two individuals with outstanding warrants of arrest.
The City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) logged the highest confiscation, seizing 3.525 kilograms of shabu valued at PHP 23,975,000 and arresting 43 drug personalities.
Iloilo City Police Station (ICPS) 2 seized 1.307 kilograms of shabu worth PHP 8,892,000 from 28 suspects.
ICPS 3 confiscated 334 grams of shabu valued at PHP 2,274,000 and made 30 arrests.
ICPS 9 seized 192.6 grams of shabu worth PHP 1,309,000 and conducted 15 arrests.
Other ICPO stations also contributed to the continuing anti-drug campaign.
Col. Wilbert Parilla, Iloilo City police chief, said the results reflect the ICPO’s commitment to clearing the streets of illegal drugs.
He also credited the dedication of all personnel involved and the strong support of the community.
