Iloilo City has advanced to the final judging of the 2025 Most Business-Friendly Local Government Unit (LGU) Awards under the City Level 1B category of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI).
The Iloilo City Government announced on Thursday that the city government is scheduled to make its presentation next week in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
“This milestone reaffirms our commitment to quality service and strong collaboration with the private sector in creating a thriving business environment for every Ilonggo,” Mayor Raisa Treñas-Chu said.
“Padayon kita sa pagpanikasog agud mapabilin nga business-friendly kag responsive ang aton syudad,” she added.
In 2023, Iloilo City received the Most Business-Friendly LGU Award from PCCI for its efforts in adopting and instituting innovative practices in good governance in partnership with the private sector, which significantly benefited both the business community and residents.
The city was also named among the Top 5 finalists in the 2024 edition of the awards.
