The Iloilo MB Dance Academy showed no signs of rust after ruling the recently concluded First Annual Diamond Dance sports Competition 2021 national competition.
Fresh off a dominant outing in the 2021 King’s Cup Taipei Open dance sports competition where 12 dancers clinched medals, the MB Dance squad showed consistency and displayed astonishing performances to further increase their medal tally to 24.
The prized MB dancers who delivered the gold medals were Zoe Alexandria Lanceta, Bryant Stefano Embalsado, Leanne Reigh Lanceta, Kate Jaramillo, John Kevin Sabuero, Joemel Jan Magallanes, John Michael Tamudtamud, and Mary Ysabelle Cartagena.
Meanwhile, second-place finishers were Dana Angelica Galfo, Magallanes, Lanceta, Jaramillo, Embalsado, Sabryna Hailey Gabasa, and Syhara Jayden Gabasa.
Therese Anne Gatmaitan, Khaye Antonette Formon, Mizzy Jamelyn Napagao, Bridgette Anne Libo-on, and Jay Alexis Gabrielle Sarate were those who qualified as finalists in their respective categories.
Head coach Matthew Cutanco Balbastro once again did a great job mentoring the kids as he led the team to another impressive finish for the fourth time this year.
