The Iloilo A. Diasnes taekwondo gym is back on track and showed brilliant performances in the recently concluded 4th Lents Taekwondo Worldwide Sports Online Poomsae 2021.
Mentored by coach Flora Navales and coach Alan J. Diasnes, the prized jins were able to notch a total of six medals: three gold and three bronze.
The Diasnes gym was able to outlast the finest jins from all over the country and embraced the challenge of reigning supreme in the Poomsae category of the sport.
Gold medalists in the Lents tourney were Kian Ezekiel Castigador (Individual Kids Male Color Belts), Ayna Tajanlangit (Individual Female Color Belts), and Cindy Joy Diasnes & Alfie Diasnes (Mixed Pair Over-17 Blackbelt).
Meanwhile, those who settled for the bronze medal were Seth Ryan Templanza, Jesseray Frantilla, & Jan Andrew Gancero (Team Male Under-17 Blackbelt), Elisha Aguilar, Ela Borres, & Camille Tanagon (Team Female Under-17 Blackbelt), and Zachary Aguirre (Individual Male Over-30 Blackbelt).
The Iloilo-based taekwondo gym is currently preparing for several international and national competitions this mid-year and will seek to bring pride and honor to the City of Love once again.
