The Iloilo City Police Office has welcomed four new police officers to its roster.
The four police commissioned officers were relieved and reassigned as part of the regular movement of personnel within the Philippine National Police.
The order was signed by Brig. Gen. Randulf Tuaño, Western Visayas police chief, and took effect June 17, 2026.
The newly assigned officers are Maj. Sonny Boy Garnace, formerly assigned to the Carles Municipal Police Station of the Iloilo Police Provincial Office; Maj. Paul Vincent Pendon from the PRO-6 Regional Personnel Records and Management Division; Capt. Jersey Besas, formerly assigned to the Barotac Viejo Municipal Police Station of the IPPO; and Capt. Jesus Cambay III, formerly assigned to the Numancia Municipal Police Station of the Aklan Police Provincial Office.
Their specific assignments and designations have yet to be determined to ensure the effective delivery of police services.
Col. Wilbert Parilla, Iloilo City police chief, said the reassignment forms part of the PNP’s continuing effort to strengthen police operations and administration by filling key positions and ensuring the effective delivery of police services to the people of Iloilo City.
“The movement also serves as a replacement for officers who have pursued career development opportunities, including schooling and training, as well as to address other organizational requirements,” he said.
Parilla said he is confident that the four new ICPO personnel will contribute significantly to the attainment of the office’s mission and vision.
“Their experience, competence, and dedication will further strengthen our organization as we continue to provide responsive, efficient, and people-centered police service,” he said.
Parilla stressed that the ICPO remains steadfast in its pursuit of organizational excellence and the continuous improvement of police services in support of peace, order and public safety in Iloilo City.
