Three senior officers have been reassigned to the Iloilo City Police Office effective Monday, July 13.
Police Lt. Cols. Ricardo Jomuad Jr., Donna Marie Rances and Randy Caballes have joined the ICPO.
Jomuad, formerly with the Capiz Police Provincial Office, will serve as deputy city director for administration, the second-highest post at the ICPO.
Rances, previously assigned to the Philippine National Police Regional Learning and Doctrine Development Division 6, will lead the ICPO Mobile Patrol Unit.
Caballes, formerly with the PNP Regional Personnel and Records Management Division 6, will head the ICPO City Plans and Programs Unit.
Caballes previously served as chief of the ICPO City Intelligence Unit.
The ICPO also transferred three senior officers: Police Lt. Col. Lorenez Losaria, deputy city director for administration; Police Lt. Col. Neil Gumana, Iloilo City Mobile Force Company commander; and Police Lt. Col. Petronila Navales.
Losaria was reassigned to the Regional Education and Training Division.
Gumana and Navales were transferred to the Iloilo Police Provincial Office.
The reliefs and reassignments were outlined in an order issued July 13 by Police Regional Office 6 Director Brig. Gen. Randulf Tuaño.
Tuaño assumed leadership of PRO-6 on May 25 and pledged to intensify police visibility across Western Visayas.
Police Col. Wilbert Parilla, ICPO director, described the personnel movement as part of the PNP’s commitment to organizational development and effective public service.
Parilla thanked the outgoing officers for their dedicated service and valuable contributions to the ICPO’s accomplishments.
He also expressed confidence that the incoming officers would strengthen the organization’s commitment to professional, responsive and people-centered policing.
“The reassignment of personnel is a normal and essential process in the Philippine National Police that promotes professional growth and organizational effectiveness,” Parilla said.
Parilla added that the ICPO remains committed to continuity in leadership, operational excellence and the delivery of efficient, honest and responsive police service to the Ilonggo community.
