The Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) implemented another personnel reshuffle just days after the relief of five junior officers.
On Wednesday, July 9, the ICPO leadership installed new commanders for Police Stations 2 and 3.
Colonel Kim Legada, Iloilo City police chief, presided over the turnover of command ceremony at the ICPO headquarters in Camp Achilles Plagata, General Luna Street, Iloilo City.
Captain Mavin Larano, former chief of the City Tactical and Operations Center (CTOC), is now the officer-in-charge of Police Station 3.
She exchanged posts with Captain Mary Jane Panes, who now heads the CTOC.
Meanwhile, Captain Jeffrey Delgado, former chief of the City Intelligence Unit (CIU), was designated as commander of Police Station 2.
He replaced Major Tranquilino Querubin Jr., who is on non-duty status in preparation for retirement.
In his address, Legada urged the newly designated commanders and all ICPO officers to give their best and uphold improved police service.
He emphasized the importance of swift response, reiterating the city’s 5-Minute Response Time Protocol.
“Indi niyo na kami pagpangitaon sa mga presinto bangud ara na kami sa inyo mga telepono. Dial 911, magaabot kami sa sulod sang lima ka minuto,” Legada assured.
He also underscored the need for discipline and accountability among police personnel.
