HVI Arrested for PHP 540K Illegal Drugs

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A high-value individual (HVI) was arrested on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 30, for possession of PHP 540,000 worth of suspected illegal drugs during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Poblacion Elizalde, President Roxas, Capiz.
Authorities identified the suspect as 43-year-old Mark Dolorfino, a resident of the area.
According to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA-Capiz-Aklan-Antique), Dolorfino was listed as a regional target.
Recovered from the suspect were 10 sachets of suspected shabu, PHP 13,000 in buy-bust money, a pouch, and a Sportivo vehicle.
Reports stated that Dolorfino attempted to flee in his vehicle toward his house after the PDEA agent declared the buy-bust. However, he was arrested after operatives pursued him and executed a search warrant at his residence.
The suspect is currently in PDEA custody. Charges for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, will be filed against him on Monday, Dec. 2.
